Legal assistance for military personnel

Legal assistance for military personnel in Poland: military criminal law, disciplinary proceedings, service decisions, benefits and military medical board decisions.

Legal support for matters related to military service

Military service involves particular duties and rules of responsibility. We help service members understand their legal position, assess decisions and correspondence, and plan further action. We provide advice and representation before the competent authorities and courts.

Military criminal law and criminal defence

We defend service members in criminal matters, including offences under the military part of the Polish Criminal Code. We assist from detention, questioning and the presentation of charges through investigation, trial and appeal.

  • Charges and defence strategy. Reviewing evidence, explaining the rights of suspects and defendants, and planning the defence.
  • Participation in procedural steps. Acting as defence counsel during questioning and other steps, including those conducted by the Military Gendarmerie and prosecution authorities.
  • Court representation. Defence before military or ordinary courts, depending on jurisdiction, including evidence applications, complaints and appeals.
  • Support for victims. Preparing reports of suspected offences and representing service members as injured parties.

Disciplinary proceedings

We assess allegations and documentation, prepare explanations, applications and appeals, and provide defence in disciplinary proceedings. We also discuss the possible implications for continued service.

Service decisions and administrative matters

We advise on appointments, transfers, service assessments, suspension and discharge. We review decisions and their reasons, prepare appeals and complaints to administrative courts.

Benefits and military medical boards

We assist with pay, allowances, severance payments and other service-related benefits. We also support proceedings concerning injury and its connection with military service and challenges to military medical board decisions.

How we start
